These recipes are based on the classic marinade, which consists of different liquids and flavoring elements such as spices, which contribute to conservation.

This conservation technique has also been extended to fish although in this post, as we have commented, we will focus on chicken. The aim of the marinades proposed today, are not so much for conservation, but to aromatize our meats and give them a much more juicy and tasty touch.
Steps to marinate chicken

Let's start at the beginning, how do you get marine? The steps to marinate the chicken are practically the same in all recipes, where only the ingredients change:

Prepare your marinade ingredients: vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil or syrups are among the most common.

Choose the chicken part to marinate: you can opt for breasts, thighs or wings, or even opt for a whole chicken or all previously chopped chicken.

Wash the chicken and dry it well, with small touches of absorbent paper.

Put the chicken in a bowl adjusted to its size and cover it with the marinade. Ideally, a glass bowl, although you can also use a plastic bowl or a food bag.

The last step is to let it macerate in the refrigerator. How long? From 2 to 4 hours, depending on the desired intensity. To get all the flavor, you can let it sit overnight. Remember to remove it from time to time if it is in small pieces or turn it over half the time of marinade when they are larger pieces.

Once marinated, you will have to choose how to cook the chicken. Our suggestions include grilled chicken marinade recipes, roast chicken marinades, fried chicken marinades and baked chicken marinades. Although some are especially rich cooked in a certain way, once marinated you can cook it as you want!
