THAI STIR FRIED NOODLES - PAD SEE EW RECIPE:

Pad See Ew recipe

The Pad See Ew is one of the most popular dishes in Thailand. It literally means noodles sauteed with soy and is a common and daily dish of that country. The original recipe uses what is known as Chinese broccoli, Gain Lan. In case of not finding it, you can use broccoli, although its flavor is quite different.

Pad See Ew Ingredients:

400g rice noodles

 For the sauce:

4 tablespoons dark soy sauce

4 tablespoons soy sauce dessert

4 tablespoons oyster sauce

4 tablespoons white vinegar dessert

4 tablespoons palm or white sugar dessert

Some water

 For the sauteed:

4 tablespoons peanut oil or similar

4 minced garlic cloves

300 g of clean chicken meat, cut into strips

2 large eggs

250 g of broccoli prepared in small pencas

How Pad See Ew is done

Prepare the rice noodles following the manufacturer's instructions. They are usually done leaving them for 15 minutes to half an hour soaked in hot water.

We prepare the sauce by mixing all its ingredients in a bowl.

In a wok, heat the oil over high heat and add the garlic. When this is golden, add the chicken and broccoli and sauté for a minute. Remove to a bowl and without adding more oil to the wok, add the eggs and beat them quickly until they set. Then we pour the noodles, the chicken with the broccoli and the sauce. Stir gently until all the ingredients are mixed homogeneously. Serve immediately.
