Octopus to the devil recipe

3 Kilograms of octopus
10 Tree Chilies
1 Large white onion
1 Garlic head
1 Peeled garlic clove
2 Oranges (The juice)
English sauce
2 Tablespoons ketchup
Salt to taste

How do you prepare?

The first thing we will do is wash the octopus with water and salt to remove the drool, do not forget to remove the needle.

Once we have cleaned the octopus, we boil it with the large onion cut in a cross, the head of garlic, a little salt (very little remember that the octopus is already salty) and enough water to cover everything.

Once the octopus is well cooked, we drain it and chop it into pieces. We roast the chiles de árbol and then we liquefy them together with a clove of garlic and the juice of the oranges.

In a saucepan we put a little butter to fry the octopus in pieces for a few minutes, since it is fried add a few drops of English sauce, the mixture that we liquefy and the ketchup, stir and cook for 5 to 10 minutes more over low heat .

When serving the octopus to the devil, it is recommended to accompany it with fresh salad and white rice as garnish.
