MAIZENA ALFAJORCITOS RECIPE 


INGREDIENTS:


300 grams of Maizena

200 grs butter

160 grams of sugar

200 grs of Harina0000

1 cdita filled with baking powder

½ cup of sodium bicarbonate

3 buds

1 cup of vanilla essence

Grated lemon or orange

Dulce de leche to fill

grated coconut


PROCEDURE


Sift cornstarch, flour, baking soda and baking powder.

In a bowl, beat the butter with sugar.

Add the yolks one by one, mixing well each time, and little by little the dry ingredients already sifted.

Add the vanilla essence and the lemon zest and mix well.

Form a dough, without kneading it, and stretch 1/2 cm thick on a table sprinkled with flour.

Cut with molds in the desired shape.

Place on a baking sheet and cook in a moderate oven for 15 minutes.

Unmold and cool.

To form the alfajores, with dulce de leche in the middle and to pass them by grated coconut.

If you like you can bathe them in chocolate and decorate with nuts or almonds.
